Temporary Management and Future Migration This platform is temporarily managed by the Platoniq Foundation, acting on behalf of the RECHARGE Partners, with CIF G57728172 and address C/ Forn de l'Olivera 22 bajos, 07012, Palma de Mallorca. The platform will migrate to the Netherlands Institute of Sound and Vision (NISV) servers. Therefore, these Terms and Conditions will be considered temporary and valid until the transition is complete.

Platform Purpose The platform serves as a space for research, experimentation, and participation, supporting cultural heritage institutions (CHIs) in diversifying funding through replicable and sustainable participatory business models. It provides tools for both digital and onsite developments. RECHARGE partners seek to promote new forms of participation and co-creation through various processes, generating open interaction among CHIs, researchers, policymakers, and the public. Participation is at the core of RECHARGE, aiming to activate communities, foster transparency, and encourage participation rather than limit it.

Acceptance of Terms By accessing this platform, participants agree to accept and comply with these Terms and all applicable regulations. They undertake to use the platform lawfully and appropriately and to refrain from illegal or unethical conduct.

A. Scope of Use These Terms apply to all users of this website. During registration, users must accept these conditions. The Platoniq Foundation reserves the right to modify these Terms and will publish the latest version on this website. Users will be informed of changes affecting privacy or security.

B. Participation Rules Anyone aged 16 or older may participate in activities proposed by the Platoniq Foundation. By accepting these Terms, users confirm they are at least 16. Guardians are responsible for minors' activity on the platform. Registration is also open to entities, organizations, and groups.

Users must engage with the platform responsibly. The Platoniq Foundation is not responsible for misuse or user-generated content. Users are accountable for their contributions and compliance with intellectual property laws.

The following content is prohibited:

• that is false or misleading;

• infringes any right of the organization or any third party, such as copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights or other related rights;

• infringes the privacy of a third party, such as publishing personal details of participants, such as name, address, telephone number, email, photographs or any other personal information;

• which contains viruses, Trojans, robots or other programs that may damage the website or the organization's systems or any third party's website or system, or that are intended to circumvent technical measures designed for the proper functioning of the platform;

• that intends to send spam to users or overload the system;

• that is part of a chain of messages, pyramid scheme or gambling;

• that has commercial purposes, such as publishing job offers or advertisements;

• that is not by public decency; consequently, the content must not incite to hatred, discriminate, threaten, provoke, or have a sexual, violent, rude, or offensive character or sense;

• that violates an applicable law or regulation;

• campaigns promoting mass voting for other proposals unrelated to the process and framework of debate; and

• that creates multiple users pretending to be different people (astroturfing).

The Platoniq Foundation reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms and suspend accounts if necessary.

C. Platform Operations Users may browse the platform anonymously but must register to participate in discussions or proposals. Registration requires a username, email, password, and acceptance of these Terms. Verification may be required for voting or other specific actions.

Organizations and entities registering must provide a responsible contact, email, phone number, and password.

D. Data Protection The RECHARGE Consortium complies with GDPR and relevant national data protection laws. The Consortium ensures confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of personal data. Data protection policies align with GDPR principles and consortium partners’ practices.

E. User-Generated Content

• Non-Confidentiality: Content shared on the platform is considered public.

• Procedure: The Platoniq Foundation may contact users regarding their content but does not assume any commitment without a formal agreement.

• Publication: Users agree that content may be published on the platform and other channels.

• Intellectual Property: Unless stated otherwise, content is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA).

• Takedown Requests: Users may request the removal of non-compliant content by emailing info@platoniq.net. The Foundation reserves the right to verify requests before acting.

F. Copyright and Reuse Fundación Platoniq encourages open licensing, derivative works, and content reuse under CC BY-SA. Users must acknowledge original authorship and maintain the same license for derivatives.

The Foundation allows reuse of published data under the following conditions:

• Proper attribution to the original source.

• No implied endorsement by Fundación Platoniq.

Intellectual property rights over user-contributed content remain with the original authors. Fundación Platoniq disclaims liability for disputes over unauthorized publication.
